While I was reading David Wilcock’s book “The shift of ages” I come across some amazing information about the pyramids in Egypt, I then went onto reading other sources about the subject, I have always wanted to know about the pyramids because mainstream explanations don’t sound very convincing. The sphinx and pyramids were made out of limestone which is rock made of very fine sand particles fused together. Recent studies have found that the Sphinx in Egypt shows heavy signs of weathering by water, even nearby temples showed the same effects, Suggesting that “the flood” mentioned in the bible and other ancient texts is a valid story. This opens up a lot of questions on climate at that time and also about Atlantis. It also shows horizontal water weathering which suggests at the time it was built there was a tropical climate in Egypt where it had heavy rainfall. Wind erosion produces jiggered ribbed surfaces going horizontally, where water erosion produces smooth curves in the rock, forming round edges and snake like crevices. As shown below. ![]() Picture of the bottom of the sphinx, showing heavy water erosion, vertically and horizontally. Geologists examined the pictures and agreed it was water erosion, but when it was later revealed to them that the pictures were from the sphinx, they dismissed it completely as they didn’t want to ruin their reputation as respected geologists. The sphinx was built at a time where Egypt was in a jungle climate, this was calculated at least 7000BC or 9000BC ago to be more realistic. What I found interesting where the following facts:
Christopher Dunn (drilling expert) has proof that ancient civilizations had more advanced technology than we do in current times. He has proven that the empty coffin in the kinds chamber (made of granite) shows advanced drilling techniques. The drill used could drill 1/10th of an inch of rock per second. The most advanced drill today can only do 1/100th of an inch of rock per second, so ancient technology was 10 times better than it is today. Not only did the ancient people posses better drills, evidence shows they had drilling techniques that had flexibility through the stone as well, this is incredible stuff! So many questions arise from looking back at ancient times and technology. *Reading about Dunn’s work can be found in “fingerprints of the gods” by Graham Hancock |
