I went to a theme park today (Oakwood) which is a theme park near me and scary stuff happened today, which I didn’t expect. We went early so we could go on all the cool rides before the queue’s started building up. Me, Mike and Joe lined up in the small queue for the new rollercoaster ride “speed” which is a vertical drop with corkscrews and a loop the loop in. we were just at the front of the queue and some people went on it before us, as they were going round I was getting a bit nervous about getting pulled up vertically hundreds of feet in the air, as I watched these people going round suddenly I heard a huge bang on the coaster followed by a noise of a piece of metal hitting the floor,
everyone heard it and panicked, my heart jumped and I looked at the people on the ride as they went white. What happened was a bolt had fallen out of the track on one of the supports. I couldn’t believe it, just as we were about to get on, so the guy told us it would be closed for an hour. Everyone stood there in shock.
What was funny about this is we walked to the other rollercoaster to go on that instead, as we got to the front of the queue about to go on, the cart didn’t move with the current passengers in, the guy said on the loud speaker “there will be a five minute delay sorry for the inconvenience” we watched one of the staff climb up by the chains and the big gaffer on his walkie talkie and we were like “oh not again”. It was strange seeing this happen twice in a row we thought it might be a sign *laughs* but we waited and got on once they resolved the problem (if there was one) but all seemed fine we got off the coaster and no harm came to us!

I wouldn't have gotten on the ride. I believe in "signs". Glad you were ok! |

 Sounds like that movie 'Final Destinations 3'....just glad it didn't turn out that way, like the movie  |
