Unification
Contributed by Nathan Colella

Throughout history to the modern day all the scientific evidence has all been pointing towards this one idea which will unify all laws into one. Isaac Newton discovered that the force of an apple falling from a tree and the force keeping the moon in orbit with the earth was one and the same, and unified it into one single theory called gravity. Isaac Newton and many scientists after him didn’t even know how gravity worked until Einstein came along and changed everyone’s perceptions of reality forever. Einstein discovered that light was a speed limit which is faster than any force in the universe, He found himself conflicting with Isaac Newton’s theory of gravity.

Quantum Mechanics

Atoms at the time were known as the smallest pieces of matter until these people found that atoms contained even smaller particles within it. Imagine an atom was the size of a cathedral; the particles inside the atom would be about the size of a coin compared to the cathedral so that would mean the atom is compiled mostly of 'empty space'.

The nucleus of the atom contains protons and neutrons orbited by electrons which would have such a weird behaviour Isaac Newton or Maxwell's explanations couldn't explain it.

String Theory
Contributed by Nathan Colella

Einstein spent his last days in his bed seeking for an answer to link everything in science together to fit one single theory, the theory of everything. He died before he could achieve it, but half a century later his work has become the holy grail of modern physics and now scientists have achieved what Einstein worked for so long, this model that unifies all the laws of the universe is called string theory which will be explained in the following dialog.

Bending Time and Space
Contributed by Nathan Colella

Lets just say we shrunk the universe to the size of your town, and you wanted to go from one end of the town to the other now we know that between two points is a straight line, but its still a distance and nothing can go faster than speed of light so there’s a limit to how much time we can cut from the journey. Einstein said that the fabric of space wasn’t static but could warp and stretch and even unusual structures of space called worm holes, a worm hole is a bridge between two regions of space that acts kind of like a short cut. To create a worm hole you would have to rip the fabric of space, now looking at a doughnut and a coffee cup representing the fabric of space, they are both one and the same except the hole in the doughnut is in the middle and the hole in the mug is in different places thus you can change the form without tearing it.

Zero Point Energy
Contributed by Nathan Colella

Zero point energy is basically energy that can be taken out of empty space in order to power anything, this is the same as string theory except people can actually tap into this energy and use it to power any device they have. Zero point energy is the vibrating strings, they are the same thing with different names and 'Zero point energy' is the name giving by those who discovered it and can use it. This power source can save the world from pollution and the use of fossil fuels, but the question is always 'who benefits?' because we all know if this was to be introduced people would have an infinite source of power and would no longer rely on corporations to run their houses or cars, the government would lose all their money! Oh no we can't have that now can we! I found a good introduction to zero point energy if anyone wants to get into more depth, read this text.
