Hi:
First of all, I'm glad to be here, second, I would like to mention that Astral Projection, according to Dr. Lewis Frederickson, of Harvard University, experimenting in Parapsychology for over 20 years, has made some progress in determining 'how' astral projection works. It is said that he has used some of his own students as subjects. Using a technique, whereupon a subject has 'electrolites' placed on parts of their shaved head, he waits for them to fall asleep, and then records the results.
Not a single person has been able to 'project himself' all this time; until the last day of the experiment, when a new subject, not really knowing what the experiment was about, fell into a deep sleep, with the help of a common 'Benadryl' tablet. Once that subjest started a 'REM' sleep (rapid eye movement), did the doctors notice a considerable change in the cortex of the brain. Vave patterns changed from red to blue in a matter of seconds. While the subject 'thought' he was 'asleep', he was actually in a 'different' plain of existance, not yet discovered my man. After the REM stopped, the cortex because deep red. When the subject awoke, he gave a detailed description of 'where' he was; but couldn't explain 'the place' in terms that would suit our known language; in other words, he said, "i can't find a single word that will fully capture my experience totally and to my satisfaction"
