Hello:
A simple question of DNA. It's usage is so limited (about 1/3 of the total structure is actually used; the remainding structure is considered as 'junk', by the scientific community), however, even with such a small portion of usage, crimes can be solved, identities revealed, parental acknowledgement may be solved, etc.
Here are some great criminal cases solved with the use of structural DNA up to now; can we even begin to 'fully understand' everything that may be solved, if only we knew how to use the remainding percentage of structural DNA?
Cases solved so far:
Eight Mysteries Solved by DNA:
o Where is Columbus Buried? o Was Albert DeSalvo the Boston Strangler? o Did Sam Sheppard Kill His Wife? o Did Thomas Jefferson Father Children with His Slave, Sally Hemings? o Did Jesse James Die in 1882, or Did He Fake His Death? o Could the Romanovs Have Survived the Russian Revolution? o Was Anna Anderson Really Anastasia? o Did the Last Dauphin Escape?
These are just a few questions, that have been succesfully `proven' positive with the use of DNA: and done so, beyond a shadow of a doubt....!
Just imagine what we could do if we actually knew the `importance` of the remainding unexplained percentage of the structure of DNA?!
Comments are welcomed; even 'negative ones'.
